Guy Salmon, Jaguar Car Dealership

The Guy Salmon Jaguar car dealership located on the main A45 Fletchampstead Highway into Coventry is an outstanding example of architectural design at its best, and is in a perfect location to attract customers to its wide range of prestige Jaguar cars. Staff and customers were finding problems with the morning sun streaming into the showroom.

The Problem

Dave Burton, the Dealer Principle said " Our staff couldn't see the computer screens, particularly in the early morning and our customers had the sun at their backs making it uncomfortable to sit for any length of time" Mr Burton wanted to retain the clean modern appearance of the showroom and the solution had to be practical as the large glass panels still had to be opened to move cars in and out of the showroom.

The Service

The Solution

Thomas Sanderson installed full remote-controlled semi-transparent blinds covering the top third of the showroom glass panels only, providing shading for their staff and customers whilst allowing full viewing of the vehicles in the showroom. All wiring was either disguised or hidden to maintain the neat appearance of the rest of the showroom.

The Result

Mr Burton went on to say "the result is a clean, neat job that is discreet, reliable and very effective"
