St Christophers School
The Location
St Christopher's School is a private school situated in a distinctive period building with character. One of the ground floor classrooms has an unusually-shaped conservatory fitted around the bay.
The Problem
The conservatory couldn't be used as often as the staff would like as bright sunlight caused excess glare and tended to overheat the area, making it unusable in the sunnier months of the year.
The Solution
Thomas Sanderson fitted Tecneat pleated blinds in the roof and windows in specialised fabric to ensure the light in the adjoining classroom is not restricted. Pupils are now fully protected from UV rays and excess glare and they can now use the area all the year round.
