The use of a spring mechanism and cords means these blinds are firmly secured to the window holding their position even in a draft allowing you to provide light control and ventilation. This also makes them a good choice for doors.
The blinds are fitted to the window by a head rail at the top of the window frame and a base rail or discrete fixing buttons at the bottom of the window frame. To open or close the blind, you simply grasp the handle on the float rail and pull the blind to the exact position you require. The spring mechanism holds the blind in place wherever you position it. When the blind is fully retracted the cords are moved neatly to the edges of the window, leaving an unobstructed view.
